About the Global Business Development Lead role

The Global Business Development Lead will manage a team of sales executives, ensuring that team performance meets or exceeds budget expectations. The role will be responsible for the onboarding, coaching, training, and success of new starters in the team, as well as continually identifying areas for development with existing team members.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and coaching a team of full-cycle sales executives
  • Setting clear expectations for performance and conduct, and measuring against this, in order to meet or exceed budget expectations
  • Assessing the sales pipeline of each sales executive and the team, and preparing regular sales forecasts for management
  • Reviewing the Sales Activity & Performance Dashboard for each team member and interpreting it, offering guidance on how to improve
  • Building, reporting on, and communicating key metrics to track the success of campaigns, events, and marketing activities in the region
Requirements
  • Experience managing an inside sales team, with strong leadership skills
  • Able to build, lead, and coach multifaceted teams to reach maximum efficiency and results
  • Understanding of the sales cycle for a Software-as-a-Service subscription model
  • Proven experience working with a CRM (preferably Salesforce) and the ability to run reports within it
  • Technical aptitude and passion for the technology space
  • Track record in setting targets, and achieving or exceeding them
  • Excellent coaching skills with experience dealing with people from different backgrounds and cultures
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English (full professional proficiency)
Compensation and Benefits

Our estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you'll receive equity packages to share in SiteMinder's growth and successes, and enjoy a hybrid working model (3 days per week in the office) in a prime location in Barcelona.
