Business Development Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Team Lead to manage a dynamic team of BDRs in the Spanish market. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for training, motivating, and developing each team member's professional project.
This is a unique opportunity to join Payhawk, a leading global spend management solution for scaling businesses. Our future-facing technology enables finance teams to control and automate company spending at scale.
As a Business Development Team Lead, you will need to effectively manage the team with the appropriate training and motivation to ensure the achievement of monthly objectives. The BDR team is primarily responsible for generating qualified opportunities for the Account Executives team.
Responsibilities:- Train, motivate and develop each team member's professional project.
- Interview and hire new team members.
- Manage and optimize all the team's outbound prospecting processes.
- Optimize the use of the sales tools, channels, and strategies.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 sessions.
- Conduct weekly follow-up and progress meetings to align team objectives with results.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manager managing outbound teams with excellent results, preferably as a BDR/SDR Manager.
- Experience hiring, training and motivating BDR/SDR teams.
- Expert in prospecting using all channels (phone, email, LinkedIn, events, etc.).
- High level of motivation and ambition.
- Very comfortable with a fast-changing and high-growth environment.
- Strong command of tools such as Salesloft, Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Courage and creativity to find new ways to generate business.
We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 per year, 30 days paid holiday leave, and an exchange policy to another Payhawk office. You will also have the opportunity to use the Payhawk product and work with a talented team of professionals.
