At SAP, we are constantly innovating to help the world run better. As a Business Development Professional, you will play a crucial role in our sales cycle, acting as a sparring partner for both Marketing and Sales teams.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sales Development Executive in the Nordics Market. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in target accounts. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, developing relationships with prospects and serving as the initial point of contact.

Your Responsibilities
  • Developing sales strategies to draw in prospects or solicit new potential customers
  • Initiating contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries and leads generated by Marketing
  • Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales
  • Planning and execution of outbound campaigns with state-of-the-art tools
  • Marketing support for major SAP events
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong sales hunting skills
  • At least 1 year's experience in telemarketing and/or Demand Generation/Sales
  • Experience working in a software sales organization
  • Knowledge of modern digital prospecting techniques such as LinkedIn and Social Media Listening, blended with traditional demand generation activities
  • Proven ability to work to targets in a sales environment
  • Understanding of business challenges facing a defined industry and line of business
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Norwegian or Danish speaker (Mandatory) and conversational fluency in English (Mandatory)
