About the role

As Global Commercial Director for Latin America & Africa, you will lead our commercial strategy to drive sales growth, partnerships, and merchant acquisition across the region. Your responsibilities will include developing a robust business development roadmap, overseeing sales initiatives, and establishing strategic partnerships within the fintech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PayRetailers' commercial strategy to drive sales growth and partnerships
  • Lead negotiations and close major deals to enhance product offerings and market position
  • Oversee go-to-market strategies for new products and services, ensuring alignment with merchant needs and market trends
  • Collaborate with the product team to enhance the value proposition, ensuring solutions meet merchant demand and maintain a competitive edge

You will report directly to the COO and play a critical role in shaping and executing our Commercial strategy. To succeed in this role, you'll need 15+ years of senior leadership experience in Sales roles, fintech or financial services, with a strong track record of driving growth and partnership development.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience in Sales roles, fintech or financial services
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels, including the C-suite
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, financial, and commercial acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish is also required)

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year (depending on experience), based on current market rates in Latin America and Africa.
