Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Europe. This role will be responsible for driving the growth of AMD server sales across the region.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business development, with experience in negotiating key tenders and large deals. They will be responsible for optimizing results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolios, as well as demonstrating a solid customer engagement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Growing profitable market share by executing the AMD and business unit strategy in full alignment under clear managerial direction.
  • Negotiating key tenders and large deals with complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Optimizing results by driving sales out of agreed vendor portfolios, including new vendor identification, onboarding, and other business development initiatives.
  • Demonstrating a solid customer engagement strategy, including multiple parties and levels that drive successful business outcomes.
  • Taking solution and service offerings to market, including financial services and TaaS.
  • Co-ownership of quarterly vendor business planning and execution in coordination with European business manager.
  • Crafting customer unique selling propositions that protect margin integrity and promote long-term value-based customer engagement.
  • Enabling and helping sales teams to win and grow share of wallet and market share.
  • Maintaining full knowledge of assigned vendor's product/service line.
  • Developing tailored customer value propositions against clear understanding of customer business requirements, in collaboration with the GCC solution factory team.

Requirements

  • Good emotional intelligence.

  • Skilled multi-level relationship builder.
  • High energy and motivation.
  • 6+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background.
  • Complete knowledge of all job functions and broad industry best practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling.
  • Strategic planning and business case development.
  • Experience of working within a matrix structure.
  • Proven ability to self-manage in an external environment.
  • Business planning experience with strong operational cadence.

Salary Range: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
