Job Title:

Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Hitachi Energy. As a key member of our Transformers Business Unit, you will be responsible for driving the development and long-term profitable growth of new products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and drive distribution transformer business development strategies for Solar and BESS applications.
  • Align segment strategy with Global Product Marketing Managers, Business Unit Industry Networks Leader, and Global Product Managers.
  • Proactively engage with customers to support technically, understand their pain points, and develop solutions accordingly.
  • Lead market intelligence for the segment, evaluating market size, demand for new business models, future trends, new requirements, challenges, and opportunities for development.
  • Support and drive market communication strategy, planning, and implementation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transformer business.
  • Proven experience in collaboration with customers.
  • Proven experience in product sales or business development.
  • Proven experience in Distribution segment, preferably transformers or system integration.
  • Strategic thinking, able to analyze and manage complex business situations.
  • Proven intercultural competence.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding and experience with transformers.
