Business Development Manager

At Icon Clinical Plc, we're seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the Government and Public Health sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your deep market knowledge to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Government and Public Health sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Government and Public Health clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to devise effective business capture strategies and support proposal development.
  • Consistently meet or exceed annual new business sales targets through successful deal closures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform your business development strategies.
Your Profile:
  • Proven experience in business development, with a strong track record of new business capture and proposal development.
  • Deep knowledge of Phases I-IV clinical development and contract research organization services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions with diverse subject matter experts and decision-makers.
  • Competency in Salesforce or similar customer relationship management solutions.
