Airline Account Manager

Founded in 1999, Trip is a leading online travel brand with a presence in 30 countries. We offer a range of travel services, including flights, hotels, and activities. Our mission is to deliver the perfect trip at the best price for every traveler.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially savvy Airline Account Manager to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the airline commercial strategy aimed at enhancing growth and market share across Spain. This will involve overseeing airline initiatives and strategic projects, as well as collaborating with teams in France and Italy to establish Trip as a leading online travel brand in the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage relationships between Trip and airline partners in the Spanish market
• Build new partnerships with local, regional, and global airline partners
• Collaborate with our local product marketing team to grow the local Spanish market sales
• Participate in national and international tradeshows
• Work with multiple internal teams to create long-term growth in the local market
• Design and execute on the short, mid, and long-term market strategy
Requirements
• Proficient in Spanish and English
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience developing and implementing initiatives to drive performance with key partners
• Ability to work autonomously and lead a wide variety of projects at a time
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter mentality and ability to define innovative solutions for airline partners
• Proven experience with leading and closing commercial negotiations with airline or online travel agency partners
• Consistent track record in successfully managing key accounts and driving revenue growth
• Minimum 3-4 years of commercial experience in an airline or online travel agency environment
• Bachelor degree or above
