About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Airline Account Manager to join our team in Spain. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the airline commercial strategy aimed at enhancing growth and market share across Spain.
This role involves overseeing airline initiatives and strategic projects that establish Trip.com as a premier OTA partner in the area. You will collaborate with teams in France and Italy as well as across the European region, hence we seek someone who is flexible, innovative, and a collaborative team player.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the relationships between Trip.com and its Airline partners in the Spanish Market.
- Build new partnerships by contracting local, regional, and global airline partners.
- Grow the local Spanish market sales through the Trip.com direct channel both through our website as well as our mobile app.
- Build trust and grow the Trip.com footprint in Spain through active account management and organize local market webinars, events, etc.
- Participate in national and international tradeshows where relevant.
- Work together with multiple internal teams to create long-term growth in the local market.
- Design and execute on the short, mid, and long-term market strategy.
- Work with our partners daily to ensure we have the most competitive content available in the local market and work with them on special promotions and creative sales initiatives.
Requirements
Role will be home-based in Madrid.
Proficient in Spanish and English.
