Transformative Leadership Opportunity
iRhythm Technologies, a pioneering digital healthcare company, seeks a visionary Regional Sales Director to spearhead the expansion of our Cardiac Arrhythmia Monitoring sales division in Southern Europe.
About the Role
As a seasoned sales leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive business growth and revenue targets within the assigned region. Your expertise in the Cardiac Arrhythmia market, coupled with exceptional leadership skills, will enable you to motivate and manage a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with international leadership teams to develop a strategic plan for expanding Zio within the region.
- Drive and represent iRhythm's values and mission.
- Foster effective teamwork across the international organization.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
- Hire, lead, mentor, and motivate the sales teams to ensure the attainment of sales goals and objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and market penetration.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, and other relevant institutions within the Cardiac Arrhythmia domain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between sales, marketing, and product development efforts.
- Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the executive leadership team, outlining progress, challenges, and opportunities within the region.
- Oversee the development and implementation of effective pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product launches to drive sales and market expansion.
- Identify opportunities for local partnership to accelerate speed to market.
- Travel frequently within the region to provide guidance, support, and foster strong relationships with local sales teams and clients.
About You
- Required: Bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in cardiology/cardiovascular medical device sales.
- A minimum of 5 years of senior-level experience managing people and resources.
- In-depth knowledge of the Cardiac Arrhythmia market, including industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in Digital Healthcare market.
- Proven success in driving sales growth, expanding market share, and developing successful sales strategies in the assigned region.
- Established connections with professionals in the cardiology industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams within the assigned regions.
- Demonstrated exemplary leadership, coaching, and business skills while developing and managing business relationships in the medical device market.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, and dynamic environment, and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Requires a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, decision-making, and self-direction to accomplish multiple goals of client practices and solutions.
- Fluent in English.
- Located in Spain with an ability to travel, dependent upon location and demands of the business.
