Company Overview

The Sherwin-Williams Company is a leading manufacturer of paints and coatings. We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Director to manage our pipeline coatings business in Europe.

Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to lead our technical sales efforts in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the pipeline coatings industry and excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer relationships, developing sales strategies, and providing technical support to customers. They will also work closely with our product development team to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationships and develop sales strategies
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure that products meet customer needs
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to pursue them
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the industry

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. materials science, chemical engineering)
  • At least 10 years of experience in the pipeline coatings industry
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout Europe
