Sales and Business Development Expert for Food Waste Reduction

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious mission: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. This problem affects our planet on a large scale, with over 1/3 of all food produced in the world being wasted. As a result, it has a significant impact on greenhouse gas emissions.

We're looking for talented individuals with diverse skills and backgrounds to join our team. We're seeking an exceptional Sales Specialist to help grow our impact across Valencia Your mission: You'll be responsible for building connections and growing our community by signing up cafes, convenience stores, bakeries, and other independent food retailers. You'll be the first contact person for these stores and will need to perform cold acquisition, primarily through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits.

You'll introduce potential partners to the world of Too Good To Go, train them on how to use the app, and advise them on finding the best possible solution for food waste. You'll work with our team to research the market, identify decision-makers, and generate interest in Too Good To Go.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Expert relationship builders who can quickly connect and empathize with potential partners (restaurants, convenience stores, bakeries, and more)
  • Confident cold-callers - we rely heavily on making outreach over the phone, so you'll need to make high volumes of calls
  • Excellent listeners and communicators who know how to ask the right questions to identify a prospect's needs while presenting our proposition with clarity and passion
  • Proactive business development, calling and visiting new prospects, with the tenacity to succeed even when things get tough
  • Team players who embody our values of being passionate, growth-minded, resourceful, and creative
  • Independent executors who can prioritize workload while communicating clearly and openly with their manager
  • Consistent and impact-focused performance that hits individual and company targets
