**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Leader to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion through strategic market analysis and customer engagement.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, with experience in analyzing local market trends and competitor activity. You will be responsible for developing and implementing creative marketing strategies to drive business into our hotel, as well as negotiating room rates and packages with corporate clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities
* Develop and implement creative marketing channels, including social media
* Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients
* Prepare company contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
* Work within current business strategies and recognize potential opportunities
* Cooperate with other departments to create an exceptional guest experience
* Attend sales events, as required
* Produce accurate and timely reports to meet senior management needs
* Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you should possess a positive attitude, good communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service. Experience in a sales role, with a proven track record in closing sales, is essential. Knowledge of the local market, hospitality industry, and sales principles is also highly desirable.
