Job Description

As a key member of Wesco International, Inc., we are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Leader to join our team in driving sales growth and profitability across the EMEA region. This role will be responsible for leading high-performing sales teams, developing and executing strategic plans, and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on our business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and profitability across the EMEA region.
  • Lead and motivate high-performing sales teams to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers to drive business growth and partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales enablement programs and training initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth and profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Additionally, you will have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to support your career growth and success.

Location

The successful candidate will be based in the EMEA region, with frequent travel required to customer sites, supplier facilities, and internal meetings.
