Job Overview
DAC Beachcroft LLP, a leading international legal business, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our Employment, Pensions and Immigration team in London. As a key member of our office support staff, you will provide administrative and file management support across the team, working closely with lawyers, secretaries, and other colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Taking instructions to undertake admin tasks related to client relationship management
- Ensuring current knowledge of client-specific protocols and processes, and building these into current practices
- File opening and closing, including setting up matters on relevant document/case management systems
- Undertaking file closing/archiving procedures ensuring compliance at all times
- Making room, hotel, and travel bookings as requested
- Organising hand deliveries and courier requests
- Printing/copying/scanning documents for Office Services
- Sending large electronic documents via OneDrive
- Submitting documents for signature by clients via DocuSign
- Assisting with new client setup and ensuring all relevant documents have been obtained
- Producing and circulating MI reports
- Liaising with Counsel's chambers regarding Counsel availability and entering dates in calendars
- Liaising with fellow team members on workloads and ensuring deadlines are consistently met
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant office-based administration experience, preferably in a legal background
- An aptitude for administration management and processes, with experience of working with document management/case management systems
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- An effective communicator with the ability to liaise with internal and external clients in a professional manner
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively within a fast-paced environment
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to change
- Excellent attention to detail
- Customer/client service-focused
- Proactive, professional, and flexible approach to work
- Keen to develop over a period of time with a willingness and ability to learn
- Excellent team player, sharing in team goals to provide excellent quality and efficiency of service, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges

The Opportunity
This is a full-time, permanent, office-based role that offers a competitive salary, which is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
