We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our team at Language Matters. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a motivated professional looking to leverage their sales expertise in the sports industry.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by generating new leads, managing the 360-degree sales cycle, and closing deals with regional businesses. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand partnerships with sports clubs and organizations.
  • Managing relationships with clients, identifying opportunities, and negotiating agreements.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the sports industry, including news, trends, and community developments.
  • Utilizing CRM systems to track sales performance and update information efficiently.
  • Promoting Language Matters' services through targeted marketing efforts and event participation.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, with an advantage if you speak additional European languages such as German.
  • Proven experience in managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • A background in B2B sales, preferably in a SaaS or media environment.
  • An interest in sports and a passion for driving business growth.
  • Proficiency in using Sales tools, such as Salesforce and Sales Navigator, as well as Microsoft Office.
