Business Development Manager for Veterinary Partnerships

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Zoetis, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with veterinary practices. This role requires a deep understanding of the veterinary market, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
Salary Range
The estimated annual salary for this position is between €50,000 and €70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
This field-based position involves selling designated product lines to agreed-upon portfolios of customers, primarily veterinary practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality account plans, analyzing sales opportunities, and implementing bespoke customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain expertise in evolving product portfolios, services, pricing, competition, market trends, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and area business managers to develop and maintain account plans.
- Ensure accurate customer information and call reports are updated through the CRM system.
- Align activities and account plans with marketing programs and management direction.
- Analyze and interpret actual and potential territory/customer sales and growth opportunities to support delivery of sales targets.
- Develop mutually beneficial and productive long-term partnerships with customers based on high-quality account plans.
- Implement bespoke customer solutions using available resources, including products, value-added services, veterinarians, and business consultants.
- Contribute to team success by sharing best practices with colleagues and proactively contributing ideas.
