The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Yachting Account Manager to join our international team of sales executives, account managers, and other members of the sales department. As part of our integral end-to-end solutions, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients within the yachting industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with customers in your portfolio and their representatives.
- Understand their unique requirements, preferences, and pain points.
- Regularly engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Solution Alignment: Collaborate with our technical teams to identify suitable solutions for each client.
- Present our IT, network, communications, and cybersecurity services tailored to their specific needs.
- Ensure that our offerings align with the yachts' goals and enhance their operations and onboard experience.
- Sales and Upselling: Proactively identify upselling opportunities within the existing client base.
- Present additional services or upgrades that could benefit their yacht operations and guest experience.
- Drive revenue growth by expanding the scope of services provided.
- Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers and technical experts to implement solutions.
- Oversight and Successful Delivery: Ensure client satisfaction through the successful delivery of services.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and cybersecurity threats.
- Provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations to enhance their yacht security and communication systems.
Necessary Experience & Qualifications
- Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal).
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused attitude.
- Proven prospecting skills and direct sales experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience in the superyacht industry is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role, preferably in the maritime or luxury yacht industry.
- Strong understanding of IT, network infrastructure, communications, and cybersecurity.
- Commercial experience in IT, Telecommunications, Networking, and/or Cybersecurity.
- Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent, and a skilled negotiator.
