Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Associate - Sustainable Business Growth Specialist to engage and support companies in leveraging EcoVadis solutions. This role involves prospecting and outreaching activities on target accounts, focusing on engaging and qualifying prospective customers. You will be the first point of contact for top firms in the UK and Ireland, evangelizing the importance of Sustainability and ESG in global supply chains.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Generating new business opportunities to fuel revenue for EcoVadis
  • Conducting high-level discovery and educational conversations with Senior Executives (Directors of Sustainability or Procurement) in Target Accounts
  • Scheduling qualified meetings for Account Executives
  • Evangelizing the importance of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility for the supply chain of Global 500 companies
  • Leveraging teammates (Marketing and Account Executives) to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities in regional areas
  • Maintaining an activity (emails, calls, LinkedIn) volume with the intent to qualify leads and create pipeline growth
  • Meeting or exceeding targets while staying up-to-date on industry trends and competition
  • Quarterly business plan creation, reporting, and presentation to all key stakeholders
  • Recording and documenting all calls and communications in Salesforce to identify trends for improvement
  • Monitoring social networks such as LinkedIn for sales opportunities and leads
  • Reporting on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative

Qualifications

We are looking for an ideal candidate with an outgoing personality, a desire to learn new skills, and to build a career in sales and sustainability. Key qualifications include:

  • University degree in Business or Sustainability-related areas
  • Experience working in Sustainability, CSR, or B2B Procurement would be a plus
  • Full professional proficiency in English and strong understanding of UK business culture
  • Passionate about Sustainability and willingness to pursue a career in both Sales and Sustainability
  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting
  • Strong time management & organizational skills
  • Superior communication skills and ability to build rapport
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to work well in an international team environment in a fast-growing business

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around £45,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on experience, with additional benefits including hybrid work organization, flexible working hours, home office allowance program, IT equipment allowance, working from anywhere policy (90 days per year), opportunity to work in a truly international atmosphere, compensation benefits: base salary + variable compensation plan, GRSP and TFSA matching program available, meals and transportation vouchers, wellness and healthcare benefits: health, wellness, and dental benefits.
