Job Overview
The Partnership Associate will play a critical role in spearheading the introduction of two new business verticals in Spain and Portugal — Affiliate Insert Marketing. This role will involve networking, sales, and marketing strategies to identify and engage with procurement hubs, broaden our vendor database, and establish standardized SLAs.
Main Responsibilities
- Launch of the Insert marketing business in Spain & Portugal:
- Identify and engage with procurement hubs of newspapers, Ecommerce entities, and other relevant partners.
- Broaden our procurement vendor database to ensure a diverse and competitive range of options.
- Establish standardized SLAs with partner entities to guarantee seamless collaboration.
- Analyze and communicate logistical nuances, including delivery timelines, procedures, insert capacity, and audience demographics.
- Collaborate with the data team to develop a model that enables Oppizi to pilot this new business initiative.
- Assist the Product team in understanding the core elements of this new business, ensuring software development meets client needs.
- Sales and Negotiation:
- Manage the negotiation and closing of new business deals (inbound and outbound).
- Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of new clients and achieve revenue targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in the print industry, business development, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of securing new business deals.
- Fluent Spanish and Portuguese is highly valued.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies, with a focus on achieving revenue and growth targets.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and drive business performance.
- Strong skills in Google Spreadsheet and Excel, as well as CRM and data/reporting management.
- Willingness to travel for team meetings, client meetings, and industry events.
