Job Overview

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for driving and securing new business leads, representing SilverDoor to potential clients, and cultivating strong working relationships across Iberia & LATAM.

The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leveraging creativity and data-driven insights to fuel profitable revenue growth in the region. The primary objective is to secure direct client contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Constantly research, seek out and follow up on new business leads.
  2. Ownership for the implementation and measurement of client acquisition plans.
  3. Deliver individual and team revenue targets by client, location, and channel.
  4. Provide accurate reporting on all key metrics.
  5. Build a strong, professional reputation across all relevant industries/forums.
  6. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records in Salesforce.
  7. Keep up-to-date profiles for each potential account.
  8. Regularly review performance with the VP of Business Development.
  9. Actively pursue new unassigned direct client accounts and evaluate new business opportunities.
  10. Communicate regularly with the Account Management team to convert new leads into regularly trading customers.
  11. Attend and represent the company at all relevant client & property networking opportunities.
  12. Compile formal and informal RFPs, either independently, or as part of the Bid Team, depending on opportunity size.
  13. Present to potential new clients.
  14. Ensure efficient use of time within Business Development team.
  15. Responsible for maintaining Business Development materials and trackers.
  16. Work closely with the Marketing team, provide feedback on industry trends and developments so that we can continually develop and communicate SilverDoor's USPs.
  17. Develop a deep awareness of key competitor activity to ensure SilverDoor maintains a competitive edge.
  18. Ensure that we always have an ethical and consultative approach to business development.
  19. Follow agreed procedures for transitioning clients to the Account Management team.
Requirements:
  1. At least 3 years of experience with a proven track record of success in new business development.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in B2B business development, specifically in serviced apartments and/or business travel.
  3. Comprehensive and current knowledge of the serviced apartment industry.
Skills:
  1. Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve results.
  2. Demonstrated excellence in customer service standards.
  3. Exceptional organizational skills.
  4. Fluent in Spanish & English (additional languages are a plus).
  5. Confident in face-to-face client interactions.
  6. Good numeracy skills and commercial awareness.
  7. Strong presentation skills.
  8. Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
