About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Citco Group. As a key member of our Sales Team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining existing relationships with clients in the Iberian Market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the alternative investment fund industry in the Iberian Market.
  • Attend meetings and present the Citco proposition to potential clients.
  • Serve as the primary local contact for existing key clients and maintain relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services.
  • Work with the business intelligence team to conduct market research and develop a successful sales strategy.
  • Provide tailored solutions to clients using knowledge of the alternatives industry and the AIFMD.
  • Apply understanding of international investment structuring and the use of SPVs to meet the global investment needs of clients.
  • Prepare client presentations, pitches, proposals, and responses to RFPs.
  • Represent Citco at conferences, industry events, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create relevant content that demonstrates thought leadership in the alternatives industry.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the financial services industry with a working knowledge of alternative investment funds, the AIFMD, and cross-border investment structuring.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written skills.
  • Professional attitude and commercial affinity.
  • Self-motivated, dedicated, professional, and with the ability to travel as necessary for business development meetings and/or events.
