We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our European Key Accounts team at Brambles. Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base in Europe.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including European customer contacts, local customer contacts, and internal teams.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including service and product innovations, to drive growth and improve customer relationships.
- Lead and coordinate joint business planning (JBP) projects, ensuring clear visibility and alignment with commercial policy and account profitability.
- Prepare and coordinate customer tenders, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Support local markets in managing growth opportunities and implementing new business initiatives.
- Share best practices and knowledge within the customer organization and the European Key Accounts community.
- Coordinate NPS surveys and translate feedback into actionable plans and JBP initiatives.
- Build and maintain a strong European-wide network, both internally and externally, with customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government legislation, including internal administration, safety, competition, and commercial dealing.
- Work independently across broad national and cultural environments, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes and methodologies, with creativity in lead generation and the ability to transform opportunities into concrete outcomes.
- Strong solution selling and value-based selling skills, with experience in selling and consistently exceeding targets, ideally within the supply chain logistics space.
- Ability to ideate with customers and identify and develop value propositions and positive business outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as CHEP e-tools, such as Siebel and SAP/BW.
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Desirable: fluency in an EU language.
