Lead Financial Analyst, Global Inside Sales
An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a vital member of the Commercial Finance team at Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS). This pivotal position reports directly to the Director of Commercial Finance – Global Commercial Support.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the sales division, providing essential insights and facilitating the exploration of various commercial opportunities within the Global Inside Sales portfolio. Additionally, you will assist the Commercial Finance team with international projects and strategic initiatives, playing a key role in delivering substantial value across the organization.
EPS harnesses the power of Expedia Group's partner-oriented APIs and template products, focusing on B2B solutions that empower numerous partners globally. As the partner-centric division of Expedia Group, EPS is dedicated to equipping its partners with innovative solutions that drive their growth.
EPS collaborates with a diverse array of businesses, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agencies, corporate travel management firms, and online retailers that promote EPS rates and availability to their customers. Partners can utilize EPS offerings in a manner that best aligns with their business needs, whether through fully customizable environments via EPS APIs or ready-to-use white-label or co-branded template solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modeling for commercial agreements related to the Global Inside Sales portfolio and assist in negotiations and contract finalization.
- Evaluate and analyze current business performance to drive improvements in both revenue and profitability across the Global Inside Sales portfolio.
- Act as the finance lead in preparing the annual plan and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Inside Sales portfolio, including contributions to executive presentations and providing critiques and recommendations regarding the feasibility and stretch of such plans.
- Ensure the timely delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial management reports, accompanied by high-level commentary for executive distribution.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to support cross-regional commercial initiatives and conduct in-depth examinations of specific topics to foster business growth.
- Collaborate with the finance team and sales leadership to enhance operational reporting, focusing on delivering deeper insights into business performance.
- Develop and implement improved processes and controls to enable sustainable and profitable scaling of the Global Inside Sales business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent) and a strong academic background.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial finance.
- Proven ability to analyze data to address business challenges and provide valuable insights.
- Experience in interpreting and presenting data in a visually engaging manner to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong relationship-building skills, exceptional listening abilities, and negotiation expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and presentation tools.
- Enthusiastic about working in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.
- Adept at thriving in large, global, fast-paced organizations.
