About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our Global Inside Sales team at Expedia Group. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial modeling of commercial deals for the Global Inside Sales portfolio, providing key insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Analyze and assess current business performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to drive top and bottom-line growth.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Inside Sales portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial management information.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support business decision-making, including ad-hoc analysis and deep-dives into specific topics.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and sales leadership to drive improvements in operational reporting, focused on delivering greater insight to business performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance or accounting.
  • Strong academic background and excellent analytical skills.
  • Highly fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
  • Confirmed commercial finance experience, with a proven track record of analyzing data to solve business problems and provide strong business insight.
  • Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-finance audiences.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Relationship builder, exceptional listener and skilled negotiator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and presentation skills.
