Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Expedia Group. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and analysis to support the growth of our Global Inside Sales business.

About the Role

As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing financial modeling of commercial deals for the Global Inside Sales portfolio and assisting with the negotiation and contracting process.
  • Analyzing and assessing current business performance to drive top and bottom-line improvements across the Global Inside Sales portfolio.
  • Leading the preparation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Inside Sales portfolio, including providing critique and recommendations on the robustness, stretch, and achievability of plans.
  • Delivering weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial management information and high-level commentary for distribution at an Executive level.
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis to support cross-regional commercial projects and initiatives, as well as deep-dives into specific topics to support the growth of the business.
  • Working with the finance team and sales leadership to drive improvements in operational reporting, focused on delivering greater insight to business performance.
  • Enhancing, developing, and implementing improved processes and controls to facilitate sustainable, profitable scaling of the Global Inside Sales business.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree, 2:1 or above (or equivalent), and a strong academic background.
  • Confirmed commercial finance experience.
  • Validated ability to analyze data to solve business problems and provide strong business insight.
  • Proven ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-finance audiences.
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • A relationship builder, exceptional listener, and skilled negotiator.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel and presentation skills.
  • Experienced and enthusiastic working in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Someone who thrives in large, global, fast-moving organizations.
