An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a vital member of the Commercial Finance team at Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS). This pivotal position reports directly to the Director of Commercial Finance – Global Commercial Support.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team, providing essential insights and support for the entire Global Inside Sales portfolio. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and unlocking various commercial opportunities. Additionally, you will assist the Commercial Finance team with global initiatives and strategic planning, contributing significantly to the overall business.

EPS harnesses the power of Expedia Group's partner-oriented APIs and template products, focusing on B2B solutions that empower numerous partners worldwide. As the partner-centric division of Expedia Group, EPS is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that foster partner growth.

EPS collaborates with a diverse array of businesses, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agencies, corporate travel management firms, and online retailers, enabling them to market EPS rates and availability to their customers. Partners can utilize EPS products in a manner that best fits their business model, whether through fully customizable environments via EPS APIs or ready-to-use white-label or co-branded template solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modeling for commercial agreements within the Global Inside Sales portfolio and assist in negotiations and contract finalization.
  • Evaluate and analyze current business performance to drive improvements in both revenue and profitability across the Global Inside Sales portfolio.
  • Serve as the finance lead in the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Inside Sales portfolio, contributing to executive presentations and offering critiques and recommendations regarding the feasibility and ambition of the plans.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial management reports, along with high-level commentary for executive distribution.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to support cross-regional commercial projects and initiatives, as well as in-depth examinations of specific topics to facilitate business growth.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and sales leadership to enhance operational reporting, focusing on delivering deeper insights into business performance.
  • Develop and implement improved processes and controls to support sustainable and profitable scaling of the Global Inside Sales business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2:1 (or equivalent) and a strong academic background.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial finance.
  • Proven ability to analyze data to address business challenges and provide valuable insights.
  • Skilled in interpreting and presenting data in a visually engaging manner for both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
  • Adept at building relationships, listening attentively, and negotiating effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and presentation tools.
  • Enthusiastic about working in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Thrives in large, global, fast-paced organizations.
