Lead Financial Analyst, Global Inside Sales

An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a vital member of the Commercial Finance division within Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS). This pivotal position reports directly to the Director of Commercial Finance – Global Commercial Support.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team, providing essential insights and facilitating the exploration of various commercial opportunities across the Global Inside Sales portfolio. Additionally, you will assist the Commercial Finance team with international projects and strategic initiatives, playing a crucial role in delivering substantial value to the organization.

Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) harnesses the power of Expedia Group's partner-centric APIs and templated products, focusing intently on B2B solutions that empower numerous partners globally. As the partner-focused segment of Expedia Group, EPS is dedicated to equipping its partners with innovative solutions that drive their growth.

EPS collaborates with a diverse array of businesses, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agencies, corporate travel management firms, and online retailers that market EPS rates and availability to their customers. Partners can engage with EPS products in a manner that best fits their operational needs, whether through fully customizable environments via EPS APIs or ready-to-use white-label or co-branded template solutions, as well as agent tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modeling for commercial agreements within the Global Inside Sales portfolio and assist in the negotiation and finalization of these agreements.
  • Evaluate and analyze current business performance to enhance both top and bottom-line results across the Global Inside Sales portfolio.
  • Act as the finance lead in preparing the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Inside Sales portfolio, ensuring key deliverables are met, including contributions to executive presentations and providing insights on the feasibility and stretch of the plans.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial management reports and high-level commentary for executive distribution.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to support cross-regional commercial initiatives and conduct in-depth investigations into specific topics to foster business growth.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and sales leadership to enhance operational reporting, focusing on delivering deeper insights into business performance.
  • Develop and implement improved processes and controls to support sustainable and profitable scaling of the Global Inside Sales business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent, showcasing a strong academic foundation.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial finance.
  • Proven capability to analyze data effectively to address business challenges and provide valuable insights.
  • Ability to interpret and present data in a visually engaging manner for both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Capacity to work independently while managing multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
  • Adept at building relationships, being an exceptional listener, and possessing strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and presentation tools.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings.
  • A person who thrives in large, global, fast-paced organizations.
