Lead Financial Analyst, Global Inside Sales
An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a vital member of the Commercial Finance division within Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS). This pivotal position reports directly to the Director of Commercial Finance – Global Commercial Support.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team, providing essential insights and supporting the entire Global Inside Sales portfolio to unlock various commercial prospects. Additionally, you will assist the Commercial Finance team with global initiatives and strategic planning, playing a significant role in adding value across the organization.
Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) utilizes the strengths of the Expedia Group's partner-oriented APIs and template products, focusing on B2B solutions that empower numerous partners worldwide. As the partner-centric branch of Expedia Group, EPS aims to deliver solutions that drive growth for its partners.
EPS collaborates with a diverse array of businesses, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agencies, corporate travel management firms, and online retailers, who market EPS rates and availability to their customers. Partners can engage with EPS products in a manner that best fits their business model, whether through fully customizable environments via EPS APIs or through ready-to-use white-label or co-branded template solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modeling for commercial agreements related to the Global Inside Sales portfolio and assist in negotiations and contract finalization.
- Evaluate and analyze current business performance to enhance both top and bottom-line results across the Global Inside Sales portfolio.
- Act as the finance lead in the development of the annual plan and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Inside Sales portfolio, ensuring key deliverables are met, including contributions to executive presentations and providing critiques and recommendations regarding the feasibility and stretch of such plans.
- Ensure the timely delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial management reports along with high-level commentary for executive distribution.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to support cross-regional commercial projects and initiatives, as well as in-depth examinations of specific topics to facilitate business growth.
- Collaborate with the finance team and sales leadership to enhance operational reporting, focusing on delivering deeper insights into business performance.
- Develop, enhance, and implement improved processes and controls to support the sustainable and profitable scaling of the Global Inside Sales business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent, demonstrating a strong academic background.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Proven experience in commercial finance.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data to address business challenges and provide valuable insights.
- Proven capability to interpret and present data in a visually engaging manner to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
- Adept at building relationships, with exceptional listening and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Advanced skills in Excel and presentation software.
- Experience and enthusiasm for working in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.
