Senior Analyst of Commercial Finance for Inside Sales
An exciting opportunity has emerged to become a part of the Commercial Finance team within Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS). This pivotal role reports directly to the Director of Commercial Finance - Global Commercial Support.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team, supporting the entire Global Inside Sales portfolio by delivering essential insights and assisting the team in unlocking various commercial opportunities. Furthermore, you will aid the Commercial Finance team with global initiatives and strategic planning. Your influence and dynamism will be key in adding substantial value across the organization.
EPS harnesses the best of the Expedia Group's partner-facing APIs and template products with a sharp focus on B2B, empowering numerous partners globally. As the partner-focused division of Expedia Group, EPS aims to provide its partners with solutions that drive their growth.
EPS collaborates with businesses across diverse sectors, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agencies, corporate travel management firms, and online retailers who promote EPS rates and availability to their customers. Partners can access EPS products in a manner that best suits their business needs, whether through fully customizable environments via EPS APIs or ready-to-use white-label or co-branded template solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial modeling for commercial agreements within the Global Inside Sales portfolio and assist in the negotiation and finalization of these agreements.
- Evaluate and analyze current business performance to enhance both top and bottom-line results across the Global Inside Sales portfolio.
- Act as the finance lead in preparing the annual plan and quarterly forecasting processes for the Global Inside Sales portfolio. Essential deliverables include contributing to the Executive presentation and providing insights and recommendations regarding the feasibility and ambition of such plans.
- Ensure the timely delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial management reports along with high-level commentary for Executive distribution.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to support cross-regional commercial projects and initiatives, as well as in-depth investigations into specific topics to foster business growth.
- Collaborate with the finance team and sales leadership to enhance operational reporting, focusing on delivering deeper insights into business performance.
- Develop, enhance, and implement improved processes and controls to support sustainable and profitable scaling of the Global Inside Sales business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, 2:1 or above (or equivalent) with a strong academic background.
- Highly proficient in English.
- Proven experience in commercial finance.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data to resolve business challenges and provide valuable business insights.
- Proven capacity to interpret and present data in a visually engaging manner to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
- A relationship-oriented individual, exceptional listener, and skilled negotiator.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and presentation skills.
- Experienced and enthusiastic about working in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments.
