About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at Iqvia Argentina. As a key member of our commercial finance team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor the pipeline in coordination with local and regional sales and commercial teams to effectively forecast revenue through the revenue roadmap process.
- Conduct regular reviews and analysis of assigned offerings, including review of revenue recognition, project performance, and unbilled/unearned positions.
- Monitor monthly compliance reports to ensure timely reporting of revenue and billing deliverables by project manager.
- Prepare monthly reporting requirements for assigned offerings, including unsigned contract opportunities, backlog, and other ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
- Manage project journal entries, write-offs, and financial adjustments and ensure they are properly documented, reviewed, and approved.
- Review and support the sales and commercial teams with the pass-through and non-pass-through cost process.
- Review and provide variance analysis to the management P/L for the assigned offering.
- Manage the monthly forecast and budget plan for the management P/L and the assigned offering.
Required Profile
- Typically requires 1-3 years' business controlling or project finance experience.
- University degree (Master/Bachelor) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or equivalent.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition, variance analysis, unbilled/unearned, and cash flow management, and forecasting.
- Knowledge of month-end process and P/L management.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications; knowledge of Hyperion, and SAP would be of advantage.
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and pro-activity.
- Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet tight deadlines, while supporting the execution of complex projects.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and internal clients.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) to a strong business standard; fluency in German (written and spoken) is a plus.
