Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Senior Finance Analyst to join our Lodging & MeSo Commercial Finance Team at Expedia Group, Inc.

About the Role

This role will involve working closely with the Media Solutions and Strategy teams to drive commercial initiatives and provide analytical support on strategic projects. You will be responsible for distilling complex financial data into impactful and actionable commercial insights, partnering with business stakeholders to better understand risks and opportunities, and analyzing business trends and investigating variances versus expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support on strategic projects to grow adoption of our Lodging supply and Media Solutions products
  • Participate in a variety of strategic projects and contribute to the broader team and cross-functional deliverables
  • Develop financial business cases to support investment decisions and maintain and evolve financial business models to help visualize key P&L impacts
  • Analyze business trends and investigate variances versus expectations
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science) or equivalent related professional experience
  • 2/3+ years of relevant experience
  • High level of intellectual curiosity that drives sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to think big and small
  • Results-driven and highly motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects within challenging timelines
