About This Role

Xe is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our expanding team. As a key member of our Corporate Sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business relationships and successfully sending quality new clients to the Dealing Team for management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sourcing and Identification: Utilize internet research, CRM, LinkedIn, and networking to identify prospective clients and lead sources.
  • Initial Fact-Find and Qualification: Conduct initial research and qualification to identify potential applications for Xe services.
  • Client Understanding: Obtain a detailed understanding of the prospect client's foreign exchange requirements.
  • CRM Database Management: Record and maintain accurate records on the CRM database and update sales pipelines to report to the Team Lead.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide monthly and quarterly individual sales performance reporting.
  • Feature, Advantage, and Benefit (FAB) Presentation: Explain the features, advantages, and benefits of Xe's corporate services to decision-makers.
  • Currency Audits and Rate Comparisons: Conduct currency audits or rate comparisons for prospective clients.
  • Client Meetings and Appointments: Book meetings and appointments for field sales to present Xe's services.
  • Internal Relationships: Work with the Credit team to agree facilities for new clients and complete onboarding and account opening.
  • Hand-Over to Service Delivery Team: Perform timely and efficient hand-over of new clients to the service delivery team.
Requirements
  • Sales or Dealing Experience: Minimum of 3 years industry experience in a foreign exchange sales or dealing role.
  • Targets and KPIs: Strong track record of outperformance relative to targeted KPIs.
  • Resilience and Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work within a fast-paced result-driven sales environment.
