Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support to Olympus sales organisations in Europe, conducting product demonstrations, system installations, and attending exhibitions to secure current sales projects and generate additional revenue.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to close deals and monitor sales pipelines.
  • Demonstrate products and solutions, performing procedures on patients as required.
  • Monitor incoming orders and sales, implementing coordinated sales-promoting measures.
  • Support customers in application areas, acquiring and training new customers, and imparting system knowledge.
  • Induct and train sales staff in defined areas, planning job shadowing with Territory Managers.
  • Participate in trade fairs and congresses, supporting Market & Product Management in market analyses and strategy implementation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Medical Science degree, such as Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 3 years as an application specialist/product specialist in the surgical field/area.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical pictures in area X or similar complex disciplines.
  • Languages: Proficient English (B2) skills.
  • Skills: Excellent application and product knowledge, strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills, independent working style, and high performance motivation.

Compensation Package: We offer a competitive salary of approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.
