About the Role

">

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager to join our team in Alcobendas, Spain. As a Strategic Bid Development Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our global sales teams by managing responses to complex RFx documents.

Job Summary

">

The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end bid development process, from pre-release of tenders through submission. You will have a detailed understanding of Spain's public sector bid process and be able to coach teams on proposal best practices that create client-focused win strategies for each submission.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Assist in qualification and provide existing and new content for bids">
  • Edit documents for consistency and submit compliant professional proposals">
  • Manage multiple, concurrent bids following defined processes and take responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and integrity of the final bid">
  • Communicate with subject matter experts to understand complex solutions and develop non-standard responses to bid questions">
  • Leverage past professional experience to identify and introduce process improvements and best practices related to bid management">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Substantial experience managing a defined bid process for the Spanish public sector and commercial clients">
  • A proven track record in leading cross-functional teams that encompass subject matter experts from various corporate areas">
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail required">
  • Native Spanish speaker alongside fluency in English">
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and similar technology">
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills">
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment">

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of €70,000 per annum, plus benefits including health insurance, pension scheme, and 25 days' annual leave.

Location

This role is based in Alcobendas, Spain, and requires regular travel to client sites and internal meetings.
