Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in the High Tech Sales division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships with C-level executives, and driving revenue growth for Gartner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our client base.
- C-Level Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives at high-tech companies, including CEOs, CMOs, CTOs, and CIOs.
- Contract Management: Manage and renew existing contracts, while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Market Expertise: Develop deep market knowledge and expertise in the high-tech industry, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and developments.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: 1-8 years of experience in a professional sales environment, with a proven track record of success in targeted sales.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; German or French language skills are also highly valued.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to navigate complex conversations with C-level executives to uncover explicit needs and value.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and challenger sales methods.
- Competitive drive with a collaborative approach.
