About Our Client

Our client is a leading global supplier and manufacturer of optical networking equipment. With a strong presence in the industry, they are looking for a highly skilled Senior Account Manager to join their team at their HQ in Almere, Flevoland.

This role involves establishing new relationships and cultivating existing connections with large and medium-sized prospects in the Benelux regions on behalf of our client.

Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Identifying industry trends.
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the buyer experience.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, communications, or related field (desired but not mandatory).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with C1/C2 level of Dutch and business fluent English.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
  • Understanding of customer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Extensive accurate product knowledge (which will be taught on the job).
  • 4+ years of experience within a similar industry of optical components, and networking equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary of around €60,000 per year.
  • Monthly sales bonus.
  • 26 paid holidays per year.
  • Hybrid working environment of 2 days in office per week.
  • Defined contribution company pension plan.
