About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Unit Engagement: Engage with the Business Unit to drive business growth and development.
  2. Strategic Planning: Act aligned with the strategy from the vendor and develop business with the rest of the countries.
  3. Business Growth: Support development of strategies and ideas to assist business growth.
  4. Pipeline Management: Ownership for building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company's CRM system.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities and the deal pipeline.
  6. Business Plan Execution: Support execution of business plans as required by the business development manager.
  7. Marketing Plan Execution: Support execution of marketing plans as required by the Marketing Manager.
  8. Training and Development: Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordingly.
  9. Customer Care: The point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales floor.
  10. Product Information: Communicate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions to customers and the internal sales teams.
  11. Call-out Days: Run call-out days on the sales floor and/or the Business Unit sales teams.
  12. Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers depending on role requirements.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with strong communication skills, both oral and written, and good emotional intelligence. The ideal person for this role should have 2+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background and have a clear understanding and strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling with strategic planning and business case development skills and experience.

The ideal candidate should be able to create and conduct formal presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management, negotiate skillfully, and promote/sell ideas persuasively, while at the same time thinking outside of the box.

Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.

Build solid, effective working relationships with others.

Excel and Power Point skills.

Experience with IT Industry (Security vendors will be a plus).

High level of English (Required) Other EU Languages (a plus).
