About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with the Business Unit to develop and execute business strategies aligned with the vendor's goals.
  • Support the development of innovative ideas to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Own the building and maintenance of an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within our CRM system.
  • Provide weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities, and the deal pipeline.
  • Support the execution of business plans as required by the business development manager.
  • Support the execution of marketing plans as required by the Marketing Manager.
  • Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordingly.
  • Act as the point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales floor.
  • Communicate product information, pricing, special offers, and promotions to customers and internal sales teams.
  • Run call-out days on the sales floor and/or the Business Unit sales teams.
  • Engage directly with customers as required by the role.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and good emotional intelligence.
  • Experience in services and solution selling with strategic planning and business case development skills and experience.
  • Ability to create and conduct formal presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
  • Ability to think outside the box and maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
  • Ability to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Experience with IT Industry (Security vendors will be a plus).
  • High level of English (Required) Other EU Languages (a plus).
