Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Account Director, Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to secure and retain business for PPD, our Clinical and Commercial Solutions business.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clinical sponsors to position PPD as a primary or preferred provider for Medical Communications and Medical Information Call Center work.
  3. Qualify deals and develop proposals that meet strategic company goals, including defining solutions and recommending pricing structures.
  4. Coordinate with the relevant clinical development area(s) to ensure a successful implementation of business development activities.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as scientific, sales, and/or marketing.
  2. Proven track record of developing mid- and high-level business contacts in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
