Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on national averages and market research in the United States.

Job Description

As a Strategic Account Growth Specialist, you will proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline within MongoDB's most strategic accounts. You will drive product adoption in key lines of business (LOBs) and expand our presence through upsells and cross-sells. Collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Professional Services, Marketing, Product, and the internal sales ecosystem, you will ensure customer satisfaction and meet quarterly quotas on Net New Workloads, Net Additional Revenue Recognition, and Professional Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and qualify sales opportunities within strategic accounts.
  • Develop and execute customized sales strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with executives and champions within key LOBs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and adoption.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly quotas on Net New Workloads, Net Additional Revenue Recognition, and Professional Services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying closing role or strategic account-based selling.
  • Experience selling complex SaaS and/or cloud products/services.
  • A proven track record of overachievement through generating own pipeline and hitting sales targets.
  • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and tenacious teammate with a strong desire to be successful.
  • Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology both verbally and in writing.
  • Passionate about growing your career in the largest and fastest-growing market in software (database) through constant development of sales and tech skills.
