About this Role: Gartner's Business Development teams play a pivotal part in expanding our global presence. As a Strategic Enterprise Growth Consultant, you will acquire new clients by fostering trust-based relationships with C-level executives to understand their key priorities and identify opportunities to deliver value through industry expertise. You will drive the full sales cycle, from prospect identification to closure, and transition new accounts to our account management team. Our Business Development teams are dedicated to building long-term client value and trust-based relationships, ensuring exceptional client experiences.

What You Will Do:

  • Seek out and drive new business opportunities with large enterprises across your territory, targeting initial client outreach to close.
  • Convert viable prospects into active Gartner clients, owning the sales conversation and negotiation, and transitioning new clients to our account management team.
  • Maintain a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to meet sales metrics and ensure KPIs are met.
  • Manage complex sales across diverse environments, with quota responsibility for your assigned territory.
  • Owning forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

What You Will Need:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex sales environments.
  • Business development or new-client acquisition experience in a selling role is highly desirable.
  • Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.
  • A proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • The ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sale process.
  • Willingness to conduct travel as needed.
