National Key Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled National Key Account Manager to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. As a strategic consultant, you will be responsible for understanding our customers' needs and requirements, proposing solutions that add value, and building long-lasting partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute key account strategies to meet top national accounts in the country.
- Actively plan and execute key account strategy, defining strategic approach on value proposition & solution as well as the internal and external positions of Kuehne+Nagel on RFQs & tenders.
- Partner with our business units to deliver attractive pricing and service.
- Proactively identify new opportunities to increase the footprint of business and solutions with assigned customer(s).
- Regularly conduct structured review sessions to align and update customers on customer strategy and priorities.
- Adjust our value proposition, offering continuous improvement and innovation.
- Competently connect virtual account teams to ensure true global customer representation.
- Successfully control monthly performance, monitoring volume, profitability, pipeline, overdues, and ensuring immediate actions in case of deviations.
- Effectively hand over new business to ensure that customer requirements and the commitments of Kuehne+Nagel are met.
Requirements
- Successfully completed an academic degree, ideally with a focus on logistics.
- 3+ years experience in related field: logistics, sales and key account management.
- Strong leadership skills to drive key account initiatives across geographies.
- In-depth knowledge of the industrial sector or of similar fast-paced and dynamic industries.
- High customer orientation and strong communication skills for building collaborative and trusting relationships with key influencers within the customer organization as well as within Kuehne+Nagel.
- Strategic mindset in proactively developing effective, long-term solutions for our customers.
- Working proficiency in Spanish and English.
