Job Title: Retention Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Retention Manager to join our team at 1-Tom-Plumber Columbus. As a key member of our digital marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase customer retention and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead marketing strategies to support customer retention marketing programs.
  2. Plan and execute loyalty strategies to support client brand retention efforts.
  3. Take the lead on special projects to improve profitability of the active customer base.
  4. Manage reward programs and ensure campaigns stay within budget.
  5. Define and collaborate on personalisation of the customer experience on and off website.
  6. Oversee and control budgets, making sure campaigns achieve required goals.
  7. Conduct needs analysis through technology audits, content audits, process audits, and stakeholder feedback.
  8. Identify new areas for improvement and development of lifecycle campaigns.
  9. Responsibility for summary reports and post-campaign analysis of all projects.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of customer journey optimisation best practices, with experience in developing and implementing testing strategies across various channels. You will be an expert at defining the right strategy for the right channel to maximise customer retention and increased ongoing profitability.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3 to 5 years of digital marketing experience with a successful track record of implementing and managing digital marketing programs in a multi-channel environment.
  2. Experience of the full customer journey, including designing and analysing contact strategies, automation techniques/tools, and customer experience optimisation.
  3. Previous experience of managing rewards programs and/or customer loyalty schemes.
  4. Clear track record of data-driven marketing and a/b and multivariate testing.
  5. The ability to interpret and present data/results to stakeholders in engaging and meaningful ways.
  6. Excellent time management skills and the ability to run and prioritise multiple projects at once.
  7. Experience in leading, coaching, and mobilising retention marketing teams.
