Job SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and proactive Key Account Manager to develop and implement national sales programs across all trade channels, or channel-specific, with centralized buyers/wholesalers to achieve/exceed revenue and EBITDA goals.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with marketing to develop and support defined sales programs in alignment with 5-year strategic plans.
- Apply market, customer, and end-user insights in the preparation and delivery of compelling technical, solution-based, and category-focused sales presentations.
- Conduct competitive and new customer research to identify, prioritize, and open new customer accounts in line with strategic plans.
- Support national sales and marketing pull-through activities.
- Partner with distributors, resellers, brokers, and/or external parties to optimize sales attainment and growth of brand equity.
- Integrate category management/leadership programs with customers online and instore.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, MBA or similar desirable.
- Valid driving license.
- Proficiency in English and Catalan.
- Years of relevant consumer packaged goods business development experience in relevant trade channels, including identification and opening of new business and maintenance and growth of existing customers to achieve goals.
- Key Account management experience within the mass-market or DIY distribution highly valuable.
- Sales within a wholesale automotive, hardware, industrial, retail distribution, and/or relevant channels preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge of the principles and execution of Category Management and Marketing both on-shelf and online.
- Good command of MS Office and CRM/ERP.
