Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Market Development Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for maximizing sales and market share within their territory, liaising with key customers and stakeholders to positively influence the use of our products, and achieving agreed sales and volume targets.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of customer targets, sales plan, local market access plan, and action planning in line with country strategy and in agreement with line manager.
  • Customer contacts through one-to-ones, group meetings, congresses, etc., with treating physicians and their wider multi-disciplinary teams for disease areas in which we have an interest.
  • Achieve use of advocacy for our products, including any necessary formulary inclusions, through delivery of product key messages, compelling clinical data discussions, countering competitor messages, and relationship building with agreed target groups.
  • Achieve agreed sales and volume targets for designated products.
  • Provide market access support working closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize CRM system to support the sales process and maintain data in a timely manner as defined.
  • Conduct a regular territory analysis to develop an in-depth understanding of customers, competitor landscape & activities, and trends in sales and market share.
  • Ensure a high level of product, therapeutic, and competitor knowledge is obtained and maintained.
  • Preparation and presentation of business reviews on a regular basis.
  • Compliance with all company and local regulations, alignment with local Code of Conduct.

Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Healthcare/Life Sciences (or equivalent).
  • Must achieve and maintain defined industry educational and qualification requirements within the country of employment in order to be able to perform their role.
  • Appropriate track record of success in sales ideally within specialty pharma, rare disease, and orphan drug sales ideally with experience in secondary care environment, product launches, and effective account management.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year depending on experience.

Location: Available across the United States and Canada, but preferably located near major metropolitan areas to ensure accessibility to healthcare facilities and other relevant locations. The location will ultimately depend on candidate preference and the needs of the company.
