Salesforce Business Development Representative

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the Salesforce Customer 360 platform and its applications in the public sector.
About the Job:
This position is responsible for engaging with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Salesforce Customer 360 platform. The ideal candidate will build positive, trusted relationships with key team members and c-suite decision makers within their territory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned public sector accounts.
- Develop and drive the overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned with public sector business objectives.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process through the engagement of appropriate resources such as Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, Partners, etc.
- Territory identification and research, to formalize a go-to-market territory strategy and create a qualified target account list within 30 days.
- Share Salesforce value proposition for existing and/or new customers.
- Drive growth within an existing assigned account.
Salary Estimate: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).
- A strong technology sales experience (5 to 10 years preferably in Software or in Business Applications) selling to the public sector.
- Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement in the Spanish market.
- Successful history of net new business sales.
- A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business.
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
- A hunter mentality with a proven track record of seeking out and closing new business opportunities.
- Proficient in Spanish and English.
