**Job Description**
The Hygienic Fluid Handling Business Unit is crucial for the growth strategy of Alfa Laval Iberica. We want to recruit a Sales Engineer for Prepared Food, Beverage, Dairy, and Pharma applications in the Food & Water Division (Spain). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
* Developing this business by finding new opportunities with new customers and integrators, building loyal relationships, and selling our products through integrators and system builders.
* Creating awareness among end-users about the value of our products and boosting opportunities for other BUs in the same market (Cross-selling).
Key aspects of the job include analyzing and understanding market insights and customer buying behavior, making sales plans according to the business unit strategy, identifying key factors to open doors with new customers, looking for and managing leads from the market and customers, converting them into real business opportunities, and ensuring the pipeline.
As a dynamic, structured, and proactive person who genuinely enjoys generating outstanding customer experiences through value selling based on customer needs, you will have a genuine curiosity for business development and seeking new opportunities in the market based on deep market and data analysis. You should also have a digital mindset, good understanding of customer needs, focused not only on selling products but also on creating value in the customer process, and strong communication skills, energy, passion, drive, and a team player attitude.
**Requirements**
We are looking for an Industrial Engineering degree holder or similar, with experience in the Food or Pharma market valued. A strong commercial orientation with at least 5 years of experience in technical sales is required, along with knowledge of fluid handling/heat exchanger technology and fluency in Spanish and English. The position is based in our offices in Alcobendas, Madrid area, and requires residency in the Madrid area.
**Estimated Salary**: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
