About the Role

Instructure is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account Executive to lead the growth of our Learning Platform across Italy's higher education sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and expand our market share in Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and presentation of Instructure's Learning Platform proposition to higher education institutions in Italy.
  • Monitor emerging trends and develop innovative sales strategies to capitalize on new opportunities and increase client pipeline.
  • Secure profitable pricing and business terms with enterprise customers through expert negotiation and sales skills.
  • Provide timely and informative input to other Instructure functions, particularly Product and Customer Experience.
  • Manage pipeline and forecast updates across short, medium, and long-term goals.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass established sales quotas within the specified time frame.
  • Foster strong internal relationships with sales support resources and contribute to our entrepreneurial growth culture.
  • Attend industry and key events to establish yourself as a thought leader in the education sector.
Requirements
  • Italian and English language proficiency is a must, alongside excellent business written skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or minimum of 4+ years of proven sales experience.
  • Understanding of educational pedagogy and the process of selling a VLE/LMS is a plus.
  • Preferred experience working in higher education and selling enterprise-level software, SaaS sales, and services.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive needs analysis, proposal development, and tender completion.
  • Strategic and consultative sales acumen, enabling you to think critically and proactively identify opportunities.
