The Position

Roche Diagnostics Spain is seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to strengthen its presence and reputation in the regions of Cantabria and Pais Vasco. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and solidifying Roche's market-leading position by uncovering areas to expand the availability of its innovative solutions.

  1. Guided by a passion for positive customer experiences, the Key Account Manager will identify opportunities to expand the availability of Roche's solutions.
  2. They will be the primary point of contact for a set of stakeholders in the scientific, technical, and economic areas, as well as with customer key decision-makers.
  3. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing sales for the entire Roche Diagnostics portfolio to offer customers the best solutions suited to their needs.
  4. They will develop account strategies and execute against strategic and tactical business plans for assigned accounts.
  5. In addition, they will establish and maintain good relationships with customers and handle their needs in a compliance manner.
  6. The Key Account Manager will also provide leadership, insights, and guidance to their team members to enable them to support the delivery of a stellar customer experience and profitable sales growth.
  7. Furthermore, they will constantly gather data on market trends, monitor products and solutions, and analyze business risks and opportunities.

Who You Are

  1. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience in the healthcare market, with a proven track record of success.
  2. Desirable experience in the area of sales/business development in the IVD Diagnostics industry, with at least 3 years of experience.
  3. They will have previous experience leading or coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  4. The candidate will possess customer orientation, strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  5. They will also have high negotiation capacity at all levels of key stakeholders within a hospital.
  6. Demonstrated comfort building and maintaining relationships with senior-level buying influences.
  7. Experience with engaging with new teams and fostering environments of accountability.
  8. The candidate will demonstrate persistence and perseverance to achieve desirable business outcomes.
  9. They will have a strong desire to learn new products and new business areas.
  10. Good communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to be creative and adapt well in new environments.
  11. The candidate will possess a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare or equivalent experience.
  12. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must.
  13. Availability to travel, both within and outside the country.
  14. Located in Cantabria or Pais Vasco.
